Ultra low-temp unit in wine cellar

A customer came to us looking for a solution for their wine cellar. They needed to be able to cool the cellar down to a very low temperature to protect the wines.

We installed an ultra-low temperature Panasonic 6kW wall mounted unit onto the external wall. Normal air conditioning systems can achieve temperatures of 17-18 degrees, but this unit can reach as low as 8 degrees, making it ideal for this application.

We ran two insulated pipes out into white trunking and up onto the flat roof above, where the consdenser sits on anti-vibration rubber feet. We added a length of cable tray on the feet to run the pipework across to the condenser so it’s not in view.

All in all, this was a very tidy installation using a specialist air conditioning system that was perfect for the customer’s needs.
